“The Carole Joy Spa” (Monaco)

A major challenger to the Principality

Many Wellness offers are offered in Monaco and it is strongly recommended to stand out in order to exist. This is the challenge brilliantly taken up by the new “Carole Joy Spa” at the Fairmont which, like this flagship facing the sea, has been able to offer original and cutting-edge treatments in a sublimated space at 7e efloor of the building. So you can benefit from the advice of health professionals and exclusive treatments by first meeting Sandra Lacoste, a naturopath and holistic advisor who will offer you a Mind / Body analysis and appropriate treatments such as a Shiatsu massage or a Kobido, the lifting face massage made in Japan. You will then also meet the amazing Peter Lewton who will focus on your energy meridians to increase your life force. Former professional dancer, he combines his anti-stress action with a remarkable work of postural therapy. You will complete everything with a “Heathly” culinary offer concocted by chef Didier Aniès in the various restaurants of the place. In the end, many arguments to take a relaxing break in this new space!

The Spa Carole Joy: luxury and voluptuousness

Located at the top of the Fairmont, this luxurious spa extends over 900m2. 8 treatment cabins and 2 suites for couples are complemented by a manicure and pedicure area, a real hammam, access to sensory showers and a relaxation area where it is good to socialize after a day of shopping in the neighboring golden square.

The treatments incorporate very sophisticated active ingredients, some based on 24-carat gold leaf for very luminous skin, others with caviar algae to combat pollution. Treatments such as diamond microdermabrasion or oxygen therapy will make your skin completely revitalized.

The range of treatments and massages is wide: facial treatments (including the 24-carat Gold Face Treatment), face and body (try the Moisturizing Rose Coccon), body massages (the head massage is sublime…), chromatherapy based on masks integrating LEDs, Shiatzu massage or even Velashape to redefine your silhouette. If you come as a couple, opt for the “Pause en duo” package which combines a Phyto Aromatherapy Bath, a body scrub and an energizing massage followed by lunch at the Horizon restaurant…

We tested with undisguised pleasure the Monte-Carlo Face treatment (obviously!). Based on collagen (founder Carol Joy Hatton was one of the first to introduce collagen into her products), hyaluronic acid and vitamin C, it takes you into a state of intense relaxation for 90 minutes. You will gain firmer, better hydrated skin and a real boost of radiance.

The Amazing Peter Lewton

He describes himself as a dancer (he rubbed shoulders with Rudolf Nureyev!) and a physiotherapist. If you were present in the Principality, you could have met him as a soloist from 1988 to 1997 with the Ballets de Monte-Carlo. From a nurse mother and a long-term captain father, he inherited from the first the concern for the care lavished on others and from the second the look of a benevolent ethnologist: “When you are an osteopath, you must adopt the same look: to observe without judging ”. But the click “health” is made with the meeting of Margaret Craske and her method “Cecchetti”. From then on, his motto was: “When the biomechanics are right, the aesthetics are magnificent”, a leitmotif that he will decline in his association Danse Medecine Recherche. And trust us, Peter is a posture specialist. It will make you progress enormously in this area: fatigue and stress will only be ugly memories as soon as you pass through its hands (and on its phenomenal seat which rotates 360°). Another field of experience for this indefatigable curious: the mysteries of the mesentery described as “soon 79and organ”. The mesentery connects the intestine to the abdominal walls. With its membrane which lines the abdomen, the peritoneum and forms a fold surrounding the small intestine, it is perhaps not a simple assembly of connective tissues, but indeed a continuous structure. Peter Lewton helps you understand and tame this still little-known organ: the intestine, our second brain, responsible for 95% of serotonin production, an immunological function… Don’t hesitate to ask him all the questions you need. haunt since Leonardo da Vinci (one of the first to have identified the mesentery).

A varied and natural culinary offer

A health journey would be incomplete without a culinary stopover and the Fairmont has a wide choice in this area: The NOBU is an institution led by its chef Nobuyuki “Nobu” Matsuhisa who combines traditional Japanese cuisine and flavors from South America. The Saphir24 bistro, lounge & bar offers a breathtaking sea view at the lobby level and a very practical “bistro chic” menu for all businessmen.Nobu

The Nikki Beach is set up every summer around the swimming pool at 7e efloor by offering relaxed world food. Finally, the Horizon – Deck & Champagne bar restaurant is ideal at any time of the day, notably with its “Market 45 le Lunch” formula: buffet of seasonal raw vegetables, meat or fish, fruit and dessert of the day. At the helm of the 600 covers served daily in this hotel complex: chef Didier Aniès, best worker in France, in constant search of the exceptional, quality, local produce, healthy and healthy food. Do you sting him on the dietary qualities of his cooking? He will bring you his famous pesticide-free lemon from his garden as proof that we can do good and well every day.
