The method is taken from the experiments of Professor Yamanaka who managed to transform adult cells into embryonic stem cells (capable of transforming into various types of cells) which we are talking about here (2020) and also there (2022).

The director of the scientific team talks about possible applications in the future if the process is mastered. He believes that this could be used to fight against diseases linked to aging and therefore to allow people to live longer in good health, rather than seeking to live longer.
